PowerPoint Assessment-Tool Rubric

Rubrics are beneficial for students in online courses as a tool to clearly communicate what is expected of them in performance. Unlike a simple 'numbered' grading scale, a rubric is more multi-dimensional in the way it offers an escalated row of expectation with coordinating titles of achievement level. Students are able to refer to the rubric as they work on a project and think in multiple layers of progress. Rubrics also provide a way for instructors to measure the quality of student work. For Assessment in E-Learning, I have created a sample rubric for an assessment activity listed on the taxonomy chart of objectives for a PowerPoint presentation.
